About

Terrace Gent is a blog I set up in the spring of 2011.

My wife was ill and I was going to be looking after her over the spring and summer so I decided to set up this blog for a bit of fun.

I have always had an interest in clothes, as a child I collected military clothing and my passion grew from there.  I developed an interest in the casual movement with a great collection of Lacoste, Fila, Cricket Club, Pop 84 and Armani. I was heavily influenced by the paninaro look to then really get in Best Company, El Charro, C17 & Replay. I am a massive Massimo Osti fan and love both CP Company & Stone Island.

The interest kept on growing and I then got really into the likes of Helmut Lang, Jill Sander and  Ann Demeulemeester. This has then developed into an interest in a mixture of designers from the likes of Nigel Cabourn, RAF Simons, Junya Watanabe, YMC and Folk.

The blog is a mixture of items I like, pictures of my collections and other bits that I think are interesting.

An esoteric blog that is done for the love and no other reason.

I have also now decided to more some of my content to Wikipedia.
